Scheduling Cleans

In addition to cleaning your system manually, you can configure SafeClean to clean your system based on an event, or at a specific time of the day.



With Event Scheduled Cleaning, you can have SafeClean clean your system with the current SafeClean settings upon every time you login and/or logout. To schedule a cleaning for every time you login:

To schedule a cleaning for every time you logout: Note: It is possible during prolonged cleaning sessions that system logout will be delayed or canceled. If this happens, simply logout of the system a second time. (Logout will not cancel your cleaning session.)

With Time Scheduled Cleaning, you can have SafeClean clean your system with its current settings at a specific time of the day for all or any days of the week. To schedule a timed cleaning:


With both Event Scheduled Cleaning and Time Scheduled Cleaning, a background application will run on your system called SafeClean Scheduler. This Application will automatically be put into your Login Items in your System Preferences. Removing the SafeClean Scheduler from your Login Items will prevent scheduled cleanings from taking place.
