The following are known issues with SafeClean:
- Entourage mail is currently cleaned, but not shredded, even if shredding is enabled. This is due to Microsoft's proprietary e-mail database format.
- Cleaning may in some circumstances delay or stop logout. This is because Apple has not provided independent developers with a method for extending the logout time limit.
