Shredding Files

Available in SafeShred Free, SafeShred Pro

There are two methods to use SafeShred to shred files. One method is to drag the application into your dock. When you decide to shred files or folders, drag those items onto the SafeShred icon.

The second method is to choose Shred Items which can be found under the Shred menu or by Control-clicking on the SafeShred icon in the dock.

      

After choosing Shred Items, choose the files and folders you want to be shredded and click the Shred Items button.

To cancel a SafeShred shredding operation, click the Cancel button on the progress window.
